The second volume of Kitaro's acclaimed soundtrack for the NHK documentary series further cements his pioneering role in the global development of new age music. The composer uses an arsenal of analog synthesizers and acoustic instruments to paint expansive, sweeping sonic landscapes that vividly evoke the majesty and mystery of the ancient Eurasian trade routes.
