Continuing their early, highly experimental phase before fully embracing synthesizer pop, Kraftwerk utilized heavily manipulated tape echo, flutes, and guitar to forge a distinctly minimalist sound. 'Kraftwerk 2' is a wonderfully avant-garde, deeply hypnotic Krautrock exploration, driving remarkably sparse, highly abstract mechanical rhythms into an incredibly futuristic, acoustic-electronic trance.
