Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Big Mango' is a more focused and song-oriented album from the large ensemble, featuring a suite of compositions centered around the vocals of Ariel Engle. The music remains adventurous and eclectic, but the structures are tighter, and the melodies more pronounced. The album balances the group's experimental tendencies with a newfound accessibility, resulting in a powerful and emotionally resonant work that is one of their most celebrated.
