Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pushing further into the stratosphere of progressive fusion, 'Offering' captures the iconic guitarist amidst a wildly fertile creative period. The compositions are incredibly dense and technically demanding, frequently blending the harmonic complexity of modern jazz with the sheer volume and tone of electric rock. It is critically recognized as a foundational recording in the development of aggressive, virtuosic jazz-rock.
