Biography
Larry Coryell (1943-2017) was an American guitarist and a founding father of jazz fusion, moving from The Free Spirits and *Gary Burton*'s quartet to early fusion landmarks such as 'Spaces' (1970) and his band The Eleventh House. Equally at home in acoustic and straight-ahead settings, he recorded prolifically for five decades. His final recordings appeared shortly before his death in New York in February 2017.
