Issued as an incredibly rare, early dub testament on his own Upsetter imprint, the legendary Jamaican producer aggressively manipulated existing rhythms from his legendary Black Ark studio. Utilizing heavy reverb, unpredictable tape echo, and stark, fragmented horn lines, the largely instrumental record showcases his pioneering, deeply eccentric approach to mixing. It laid fundamental structural and sonic groundwork for the entire subsequent development of dub music.
