Album Notes & Community Reviews

On 'Scar Sighted', Leviathan's Jef Whitehead expands the project's black metal foundation into a stylistic phantasmagoria that incorporates death metal, doom, industrial noise, and musique concr猫te. The album is built on compositional abandon, using uproarious black metal blitzes as dynamic peaks while navigating passages of disquieting melody and stark restraint. Billy Anderson's production captures a sound that is both viciously clear and oppressively atmospheric, balancing a tangible sense of nihilism with moments of bleak perseverance.
