Life In The Aquarium Under The Sea

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Crafted entirely as a cozy, nostalgic sonic voyage, 'Life In The Aquarium Under The Sea' is the third ambient full-length album from Canadian multidisciplinary artist Liam Aldous. The record combines hazy comfy synth keys and muffled hypnagogic pop loops with underwater field recordings, crackly tape hiss, and lo-bit digital sound design. The resulting compositions evoke a beautiful, bittersweet sense of childhood fantasy, presenting a warm and deeply comforting lullaby map of isolation.
