Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emerging from the Scottish post-punk underground, Lowlife crafted a deeply atmospheric, freezing exploration of ethereal wave and gothic rock. Craig Lorentson's brooding, incredibly melancholic vocals float above a wash of heavily flanged guitars, prominent melodic basslines, and stark drum machines. 'Permanent Sleep' is a highly introspective, somber, and nocturnal masterpiece of 80s darkwave.
