Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final chapter in his acclaimed udigrudi trilogy, Lula C么rtes' 'Rosa de sangue' is an explosive fusion of Northeastern Brazilian folk rhythms and heavy psychedelic rock. The album bristles with aggressive electric guitar work intertwined with traditional percussion, closing out the classic era of the Pernambuco countercultural music scene. It suffered from poor initial distribution before gaining immense retroactive cult status.
