Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded live in Lisbon, the album captures Teresa Salgueiro's voice over the acoustic arrangements of Pedro Ayres Magalh茫es as Madredeus became Portugal's leading musical export. Two years later Wim Wenders built his film 'Lisbon Story' around the group, carrying this fado-rooted sound to an international audience.
