Album Notes & Community Reviews

John McLaughlin's revived iteration of the legendary ensemble heavily incorporates the digital technology of the era, notably the Synclavier. The resulting compositions offer a sleek, futuristic reinterpretation of jazz fusion, replacing the raw intensity of the 1970s with polished, intricately sequenced atmospheres.
