Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his uniquely percussive and repetitive approach to the piano, Mal Waldron's trio session is an uncompromising foray into dark, modal free jazz. The relentless, brooding ostinatos provide a hypnotic and deeply ominous foundation for extensive avant-garde improvisation.
