Mal Waldron

A pianist and composer known for his percussive, repetitive, and often dark and brooding style. He was a highly original voice who created hypnotic, trance-like moods. He is also famous for his sensitive work as the house pianist for Prestige Records and as Billie Holiday's final accompanist.
