Manfred Mann Chapter Three's second album continued Manfred Mann and Mike Hugg's move away from pop success into darker, horn-heavy progressive jazz-rock. 'Volume Two' is the last album under the Chapter Three name before Mann reorganized his work into Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
