Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from the heavy, metallic aggression of his past, the infamous shock rocker collaborated closely with film composer Tyler Bates for a stunning late-career resurgence. The resulting sound is a stripped-back, swaggering hybrid of gothic blues, cinematic alternative rock, and brooding post-punk. Stripped of the usual elaborate industrial theatrics, his weathered vocals carry a menacing, grizzled authority.
