Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mercury Rev's debut, 'Yerself Is Steam', is a wildly chaotic and dense immersion into experimental neo-psychedelia and noise pop. The band completely eschews traditional song structures, opting instead for incredibly raw, drug-fueled, and hypnotic space-rock jams that feel both deeply surreal and noisy.
