Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a distinct evolution from their earlier a cappella and madrigal origins, 'Carnival of Souls' finds the English group deeply submerged in atmospheric orchestration. The production heavily incorporates dramatic vocal performances layered over brooding, textural instrumentation. The record explores cinematic themes, heavily steeped in a lush and nocturnal aesthetic.
