Biography
Miranda Sex Garden are a London band formed in 1990 by madrigal singers Katharine Blake, Kelly McCusker and Jocelyn West. Signed to #Mute Records#, they began with the a cappella Renaissance settings of 'Madra' (1991), then, with Ben Golomstock and Trevor Sharpe, reinvented themselves as an avant-garde gothic rock band on 'Suspiria' (1993) and 'Fairytales of Slavery' (1994). Dormant after 'Carnival of Souls' (2000), the band reformed in 2022 around Blake, its only constant member.
