Empress Rising

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio full-length from the Gothenburg trio establishes their uncompromising approach to contemporary doom and stoner metal. Built on massive, fuzz-drenched riffs and plodding rhythmic foundations, the record creates a dense, hypnotic atmosphere that evokes bleak, desert-like expanses. Its monumental instrumental weight is complemented by ethereal, echoing vocal performances, securing the band's position in the modern heavy underground.
