Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during the global pandemic, the Gothenburg trio's fifth studio effort balances their monolithic doom roots with increasingly melodic and progressive sensibilities. The band integrates bittersweet vocal hooks and intricate, melancholic lead guitar work into their standard fuzz-laden rhythmic pummeling. Thematic elements focus on existential dread and environmental collapse, mirroring the dark, ominous weight of the instrumentation.
