All the Witches Dance

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mortuary Drape's debut album is a cornerstone of the Italian extreme metal scene, notable for its deeply occult atmosphere and reliance on traditional heavy metal riffing structures rather than the blast-beat fury of its Scandinavian contemporaries. The prominent use of chanting and eerie, bass-heavy production cultivated a uniquely ritualistic sonic identity within the first wave of black metal.
