Album Notes & Community Reviews

The undisputed godfathers of British doom metal deliver another devastatingly heavy, profoundly melancholic epic steeped in classic death doom and gothic metal grandiosity. Aaron Stainthorpe's fiercely poetic, agonizingly depressive vocal deliveries are backed by mournful violin lines and crushing, sombre guitar riffs. It is a darkly beautiful, highly melodic testament to their unparalleled emotional weight.
