As a continuation of her homage to Latin American folk traditions, 'Musas, Vol. 2' sees Natalia Lafourcade deepen her collaboration with the acoustic guitar duo Los Macorinos. The album presents an intimate, live-in-studio sound that blends classic compositions from songwriters like María Grever and Atahualpa Yupanqui with Lafourcade's own original material, including the politically-rooted "Un derecho de nacimiento". Garnering both Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations, the recording is celebrated for its warm, clear production and Lafourcade's versatile, emotive vocals that reverently interpret the genre's rich history.
