Album Notes & Community Reviews
Although credited to Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, 'Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports' is largely built around Carla Bley's compositions and features Robert Wyatt on lead vocals. The album combines Canterbury-adjacent humor, jazz-rock ensemble writing, and an offbeat theatrical tone distinct from Mason's main band.
