Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Finnish symphonic metal titans deliver a massive double album reflecting deeply on human evolution and the majesty of the natural world. The sprawling first half highlights frontwoman Floor Jansen's versatile vocal range, while the second half functions entirely as an ambitious, half-hour orchestral suite largely devoid of traditional rock instrumentation.
