Reuniting with Drag City after a stint on Sub Pop, the Los Angeles punk duo rebounded significantly from the abstract ambient experimentation of their previous record. The album is an incredibly joyous, fuzzy return to the blistering noise-pop and hazy shoegaze melodies that defined their early breakthrough work. It was highly praised as a massive, warmly recorded revitalization for the influential DIY stalwarts.
