Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning after a five-year hiatus and several lineup shifts, Steve Hartlett's Connecticut outfit delivers an incredibly fuzz-heavy, emotionally resonant sophomore album. The incredibly brief record brilliantly updates classic 1990s slacker-rock aesthetics, burying remarkably infectious, sugary pop hooks and melancholic vocals beneath massive, blown-out walls of distorted guitars. It firmly cemented the band's cult status as modern masters of underground noise pop.
