Album Notes & Community Reviews

Spearheaded by Susumu Hirasawa, this debut album fundamentally shaped the Japanese new wave and synth-punk landscape. The band blended frantic, robotic rhythms with sharp, satirical lyricism reflecting the anxieties of hyper-modernized society. The high-energy, jerky compositions established them as highly influential pioneers within the technopop and Zolo movements.
