Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in the early eighties and shelved for sixteen years, Pagan Altar's debut finally appeared with the Jones father-and-son team already cult figures among doom collectors. Its occult narrative songs and Terry Jones's singing predate the doom revival the album later fed, and it was subsequently reissued under the title 'Judgement of the Dead'.
