Social Disservices

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This conceptual work serves as a scathing indictment of the American foster care system and the systemic failures of social services. The music moves away from folk influences toward a more dissonant and oppressive soundscape, utilizing samples and frantic, chaotic structures to mirror psychological distress. It remains one of the most personal entries in the discography, focusing on trauma and institutional neglect.
