Album Notes & Community Reviews

Patrick Cowley's 'Megatron Man' consolidated the producer's role in San Francisco's high-energy disco scene. The album's extended synthesizer patterns, club-centered pacing, and futuristic imagery helped define the Hi-NRG sound associated with gay dance culture in the early 1980s.
