Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on Brian Eno's experimental Obscure imprint, Simon Jeffes' unique ensemble debuted with a stunningly unclassifiable, delightfully eccentric acoustic vision. 'Music From the Penguin Caf茅' is a wonderfully eclectic, beautifully peaceful blend of classical chamber music and avant-folk, offering incredibly melodic, distinctly melancholic, and deeply sentimental instrumental miniatures.
