Album Notes & Community Reviews
Leaning heavily into surf rock and space-age obsessions, 'Bossanova' captures the Pixies refining their loud-quiet dynamics into slightly more polished alternative rock. Black Francis's quirky, science fiction-driven lyrics are delivered with anxious energy over a highly melodic, warm, and rhythmic instrumental backdrop.
