Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fronted by the fiercely provocative Wendy O. Williams, the Plasmatics' sophomore LP ramps up both the shock value and the heavy metal riffing. 'Beyond the Valley of 1984' blurs the line between theatrical punk rock and abrasive hard rock, famously featuring the sound of a chainsaw destroying a guitar during the recording process[cite: 1].
