Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chrissie Hynde guided the Pretenders toward a remarkably upbeat, highly polished pop-rock sound on their seventh studio album[cite: 1]. '隆Viva el Amor!' largely abandons their early post-punk grit, focusing entirely on heavily produced, highly melodic rock anthems and prominently featuring a successful cover of The Divinyls' 'Human on the Inside'[cite: 1].
