Album Notes & Community Reviews

Characterized by his incredibly deep, gravelly vocal delivery, the Jamaican toaster offers a stern, righteous commentary on the intense political and social turbulence of his homeland. The backing tracks, provided by the legendary session group The Arabs and mixed by Joe Gibbs, are heavily steeped in dense, hypnotic dub aesthetics. The album is a menacing, atmospheric classic of the roots reggae and deejay traditions.
