Biography
Prince Far I, born Michael James Williams in Spanish Town, Jamaica, was a reggae deejay whose cavernous chant powered 'Psalms for I' (1975) and 'Under Heavy Manners' (1976). As a producer on his own #Cry Tuff# label, his 'Cry Tuff Dub Encounter' albums became dub landmarks. He was murdered at his home in Kingston in 1983.
