Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of organist Matthew Fisher, the group drafted Chris Copping and shifted their sound toward a notably darker, more guitar-heavy direction. Robin Trower's aggressive, biting guitar work takes center stage against Gary Brooker's piano, beautifully underscoring Keith Reid's exceptionally bleak, death-obsessed lyrical themes.
