96 Tears

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Defined by the insistent riffing of a Vox Continental organ and raw, energetic musicianship, '96 Tears' is a landmark album of the garage rock movement. Built around the massive success of its title track, the record consists almost entirely of original compositions that channel a lean, proto-punk energy influenced by the British Invasion. The album's simple song structures and primitive production capture a quintessential mid-60s sound, cementing its historical significance.
