Biography
Question Mark and the Mysterians are a Michigan garage rock band formed in 1962, fronted by the sunglass wearing singer Question Mark, born Rudy Martinez. Their 1966 single '96 Tears', built on Frank Rodriguez's organ riff, topped the Billboard Hot 100 and became a garage rock standard often cited as an early punk record. After the albums '96 Tears' and 'Action' and a 1969 split, the original members reunited in the 1990s for a re-recorded debut and the new album 'More Action'.
