Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their trajectory toward commercial, AOR-friendly hard rock, 'Straight Between the Eyes' prominently features Joe Lynn Turner's melodic vocal stylings over Ritchie Blackmore's streamlined riffs. The record achieved significant American radio success, moving the band further from its mystical, neo-classical heavy metal origins.
