Stranger in Us All
by Rainbow
Following his departure from Deep Purple, Ritchie Blackmore unexpectedly resurrected his legendary hard rock project with an entirely new lineup. Featuring the remarkably powerful vocals of Doogie White, the record successfully bridged the driving, commercial AOR of the band's 1980s era with the heavier, neoclassical grandeur of their 1970s roots. It ultimately served as the final studio album under the Rainbow moniker before Blackmore dissolved the group to focus on acoustic folk music.
