Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of founding member Jimi Shields, the Irish group completely unmoored their sound from traditional pop structures. The meticulously layered production overflows with bizarre instrumentation, chaotic studio effects, and wildly unpredictable tempo changes. This wildly ambitious, highly dense psychedelic opus proved too difficult for commercial audiences but remains a critically cherished marvel of mid-90s studio maximalism.
