Biography
Rollerskate Skinny were a Dublin indie rock band formed in 1992 by Ken Griffin, Ger Griffin and Stephen Murray, joined by Jimi Shields, who took the band's name from The Catcher in the Rye. Their debut album 'Shoulder Voices' appeared in 1993 on #Placebo#, and after Shields' departure the trio signed to #WEA# for the baroque noise pop of 'Horsedrawn Wishes' in 1996. The band split that year, leaving two critically acclaimed albums and the single 'Speed to My Side'.
