El mal querer

Rosalía's 'El mal querer' is a conceptual album, originally her baccalaureate project, based on the anonymous 13th-century Occitan novel *Flamenca* which chronicles the arc of a toxic relationship. Co-produced with El Guincho, the record's sound deconstructs traditional flamenco by fusing its vocal and percussive elements with the experimental production of contemporary R&B, pop, and electronic music.
