Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Run the Jewels 3', the duo of El-P and Killer Mike refine their potent formula, delivering a dense and urgent record fueled by El-P's abrasive, sci-fi-inflected production. The album balances politically charged indictments of systemic injustice with darkly humorous braggadocio, showcasing the pair's sharp lyrical chemistry and unflinching perspective. Featuring notable contributions from artists like Kamasi Washington and Zack de la Rocha, the project expands its sonic palette with moments of jazzy introspection and melodic reflection, solidifying its place as a vital and critically acclaimed work of its era.
