Biography
El-P is a Brooklyn rapper and producer, born Jaime Meline. He co-founded *Company Flow*, whose 'Funcrusher Plus' (1997) defined underground hip-hop, then built the #Definitive Jux# label and released 'Fantastic Damage' (2002). Since 2013 he has formed one half of *Run the Jewels* with *Killer Mike*. His later solo albums 'I'll Sleep When You're Dead' (2007) and 'Cancer 4 Cure' (2012) extended his dystopian, analogue-heavy sound, and he has also composed themes and scores for film and television.
