Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ryuichi Sakamoto's 'B-2 Unit' marked a sharp experimental turn away from Yellow Magic Orchestra's more polished technopop. The album is notable for its fragmented electronics, early electro vocabulary, and the track 'Riot in Lagos', which became influential in later electronic dance and hip-hop contexts.
