Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Back to the Basics' reinforces the trio's standing in the Michigan scam-rap movement through high-velocity rhythmic flows and minimalist Detroit-style beat-work. The arrangements prioritize sharp lyrical exchanges and the deadpan delivery characteristic of the regional urban scene's mid-decade peak. It conceptually addresses themes of professional integrity and the enduring cultural impact of the 808-heavy Detroit sound within the independent rap landscape.
